Fort Peck Hatchery Dedication is July - Glasgow Montana

in nearby Fort Peck Lake over the last two months.
Because parking is limited at the hatchery, the public
is encouraged to park their vehicles at Kiwanis Park and
take a free shuttle provided by Valley Transit to the
hatchery. The shuttle will then return visitors to their
vehicles at the park in time for the picnic.
"Because so many folks from so many communities
across eastern Montana have contributed to the hatchery
effort, we felt it was important to celebrate the successful
completion of the facility's construction," said FWP's
Hagener. "The Fort Peck Hatchery is a state-of-the-art fish
production facility, and has the potential to significantly
increase stocking of game fish, aid pallid sturgeon recovery
and even attract visitors to eastern Montana. This is a good
opportunity for the public to get a first-hand look at the
hatchery and stay around for the dedication."
The hatchery dedication ceremony will kick off the
annual Governor's Cup Walleye Tournament. Tournament
action will be held Friday and Saturday on Fort Peck Lake,
with the official final weigh-in on Saturday at 3 p.m. and
winners announced at 4 p.m. on July 8 in Kiwanis Park.

weekend, capped off with a 16-8 victory over Valley
Bank in the championship. The team consists of:
