CAMSHAFT<br />
- The CAMSHAFT is designed<br />
to drive the Rocker Arm Valve,<br />
which has projections that<br />
drive the intake and exhaust<br />
valves of the shaft. On the<br />
other end is the gear cam<br />
sprocket that operates the<br />
Camshaft, and for DOHC cars,<br />
a CPS (Crank Position Sensor)<br />
is located on the opposite<br />
side.<br />
If there is a Camshaft on the<br />
cylinder head, it is an SOHC<br />
engine, whereas a DOHC<br />
(Double Over Head Camshaft)<br />
engine has two Cam Shafts on<br />
the cylinder head.<br />
- Special Feature of the Product<br />
: The CAMSHAFT, which<br />
works with the ROCKER ARM,<br />
is an important part of the<br />
engine. A high degree of<br />
precision is required in<br />
manufacture, which means<br />
that an automatic production<br />
system is capable of a margin<br />
of error within 1/1000mm is<br />
