Currently sparsely populated but is forecast to experience very high population
growth in the next 10 years such that the percentage of the municipality’s
population in this precinct will move from 0.8% to 5% and over 13,000 new
dwellings will be constructed by 2031. There is currently only one local play space in
this precinct but approximately 30 will be needed by 2031. The location and nature
of these new facilities will be determined by council planning requirements and the
planning principles described within this strategy.
