Gun cabinets can be protected like china cabinets on the previous two pages.<br />

However, since the glass front to a gun cabinet could be broken, and guns<br />

stolen without sounding the alarm, two other methods for protecting guns are<br />

provided here.<br />

Method 1: Bugging a gun<br />

Select a gun to be “bugged.” Drill a 3/4" (1.9 cm) diameter hole in the cabinet butt<br />

cutout. Mount roller switch in hole.<br />

If desired, wire into 24-hour circuit to provide protection even when owner is<br />

home. All guns may be protected this way.<br />

Instruct user to disarm system before removing gun.<br />

Method 2: MagnaPull — For guns on open racks<br />

Drill wiring hole through wall near end of gun rack (if rack is mounted on wall).<br />

Mount magnet housing on wall or other end of gun rack. Pull wire through trigger<br />

guards of all guns.<br />

Insert switch into magnet housing.<br />

Test for proper operation.<br />
