Sport Hanoverian News Amadeus by Afrikaner/Servus (breeder: Hermann Gerken, Hepstedt) has passed away. Delight Lee Tubman rode Delight by De Niro/White Magic (breeder: Mariechen Guennemann, Loxstedt) into third place in the Grand Prix at the West Palm Beach Dressage Derby in Wellington; the pair enjoyed a forth placement. Desperados FRH (VA) The seventh round of the World Cup took place in Neumünster. Kristina Sprehe rode Desperados FRH by De Niro/Wolkenstein (breeder: Herbert Schütt, Hemmoor) into second place in the Grand Prix and in the Freestyle right behind Damon Hill and Helen Langehanenberg. Desperados FRH and Kristina Sprehe celebrated victories in the Grand Prix and Special in Dortmund. These results meant them being the champions of this competition series just like last year. Don Auriello (VA) Two starts – two victories for Don Auriello by Don Davidoff/White Star (breeder: Joachim Poppe, Harsefeld) and Tinne Vilhelmson-Silfven in the Grand Prix and in the Special at the CDI in Wellington/Florida mid February. Don Charlys (VA) Minna Telde celebrated a successful comeback with her proven mount Don Charlys by Don Gregory/Inschallah AA (breeder: Ewald Grotelueschen, Charlottendorf) at the Grand Prix in Bremen. Donna Bonita (VA) The renowned trainer Tor van den Berge presented Donna Bonita by Don Bosco/Bergkristall (breeder: Otto Cohrs, Heidenau) in the Small Tour at the CDI in Orange/Australia. The pair obtained the forth-best result in Prix St. Georges and in Intermediaire I. Don Johnson FRH Don Johnson FRH by Don Frederico/Warkant (breeder: Ulrike Meyer, Dedelstorf) is a reliable World Cup points collector. He placed third in the Freestyle with rider Isabell Werth in Neumünster. The eleven-year old had already obtained the same result in the Grand Prix. Elevado Elevado by Falkenstern/Weltmeyer (breeder: Georg Harsmann, Wilsum) and Juan Antonio Jimenez Cobo enjoyed a forth place in Prix St. Georges and a forth place in Intermediaire I for seven- to nine-year old horses on the first weekend of the show series “Spring Tour” in Vidauban. The pair improved to third place in Prix St. George and Inter I in the second week. Esperanto Esperanto by Escudo II/Rio Branco (breeder: Johann-Christian Eggers, Freiburg) and Andrea John from Belgium finished the Grand Prix Freestyle-Final in forth place at the renowned indoor show in Dortmund. Ferrero Rocher Amanda Shoobridge from Australia placed third in Intermediaire I on her proven mount Ferrero Rocher by Florestan/Weltmeyer (breeder: Gerlinde Kruschewski, Dortmund) in Orange. The approved sire obtained the same result in the freestyle. Finally Hanover celebrated a dual victory in Wellington’s Grand Prix Special. Mette Rosencrantz rode Finally by De Niro/Caprimond (breeder: Sven Kahrens, Dedelstorf) into second place right behind Tinne Vilhelmson- Silfven and Don Auriello. The pair finished the Prix St. Georges in third place at their debut in Neumuenster. Havanna (VA) Benjamin Werndl and Havanna by Hochadel/ Rodgau (breeder: Walter Robert, Breitenbach-Gehau) won bronze in the final for sixyear old dressage horses at the CDI in Vidauban. Liostro (VA) Ingrid Klimke rode Liostro by Le Primeur/ Wenzel (breeder: Heiner and Renate Hormann, Landesbergen) into forth position in the Grand Prix in Bremen. The pair improved to third place in the following Special. Lucky Dance (Hessian) Lucky Dance by Lucky Lionell/Placido-Sun (breeder: Gestüt Tannenhof, Heidenrod) won the Grand Prix for horses that did not qualify for the freestyle final in Vidauban. Julie de Deken from Belgium presented the Hessian horse. Naomy Juan Antonio Jumenez Cobo from Spain rode Naomy by Hofrat/Espri (breeder: Uwe Buenger, Hemmingen) into fifth place in Intermediaire I At the end of the first week of the horse show series in Vidauban. Remmington Steele Remmington Steele by Ravallo/Gelria (breeder: Wilhelm Varenkamp, Stemwede) competed in Vidauban for Switzerland and won the team test for juniors with rider Caroline-Marie Scheufele. The pair completed the individual test in second place. They won the final freestyle. Riverdance (VA) Klaus and Nadine Husenbeth trained and prepared Riverdance by Ravallo/Matcho AA (breeder: Hans-Jürgen Meyer, Nottuln-Darup) for international competitions.
