Marla and Gide<strong>on</strong> just sat <strong>the</strong>re staring at me when <strong>the</strong><br />
door closed. Finally Marla asked, “Well, what do you think,<br />
John?”<br />
“Think? What do I think? This is probably <strong>the</strong> most inc<strong>on</strong>ceivable<br />
thing that has ever happened to me and you’re<br />
asking me what I think? It’s impossible for me to think at all.”<br />
“Accept this with an open mind,” said Gide<strong>on</strong>, “and<br />
you’ll find <strong>the</strong>re are different ways to approach life.”<br />
There was a tremendous sense of peace and joy when<br />
he was near and, yet, I still could not c<strong>on</strong>sciously bring myself<br />
to believe that he was The God. He walked over to his chair<br />
and sat down. Looking me straight in <strong>the</strong> eye, he said, “John,<br />
you d<strong>on</strong>’t really believe all of this, do you?” It was more a<br />
statement than a questi<strong>on</strong>.<br />
“Well, I must admit that I’m puzzled.”<br />
“I am God. I am Alpha and Omega, <strong>the</strong> beginning and<br />
<strong>the</strong> end, First Cause, Jehovah, Yahweh, Yeshua, Allah. I am I,<br />
Lord God Almighty, The First Force. What did you expect to<br />
