Excessive Bus Conduct Report
“Imagine: Make Happen What You Believe”
Attached is another Bus Conduct Report for this student. The student has already received five or
more bus conduct reports. Unfortunately, the student does not seem to be improving their
behavior on the bus, showing a continued pattern of misbehavior. This is compromising safety
on the bus and is a major liability to the District. Stronger action must be taken.
Please discuss this report with the student promptly. As per the guidelines in the Parent/Student
handbook, a conference with the parent is required. Involving a CWA or someone from
Human Resources is probably also warranted. Please inform Transportation when this is held so
someone from that office can attend.
At the fifth conduct report, the Parent/Student handbook also recommends the student have their
bus privileges revoked for THE REMAINDER OF THE SEMESTER. As they received for
than five reports, in addition to disciplinary action taken at your school, the student should be
permanently removed from the bus for the remainder of the school year. Confer with the
Transportation representative at the conference regarding the date of the revocation.
Once done, complete the “School Report” section and retain the Yellow copy for your records.
Give the original to the parent, and the Pink and Gold copies to the Transportation
representative, at the conference.

Conduct on School Buses
Protect your riding privileges by following these rules at all times
while on board the bus.
1. Students must carry their bus pass at all times and show it to
the driver upon request
2. Obey and cooperate with the bus driver at all times. He/she is
authorized to assign seats.
3. Behave on the bus with respect as you would in a classroom.
4. Help keep your bus clean – eating, drinking, smoking and gum
chewing are not permitted on the bus
5. Remain seated until the bus arrives at the stop and the bus
door is opened
6. Keep your head, arms, hands and legs to yourself and inside
the bus.
7. Be courteous and only talk quietly (no profanity or bullying)
8. Respect property. (Parents are responsible for the repair or
replacement of damaged property.
9. The following are not permitted on a school bus: animals,
glass containers, balloons, skateboards, scooters, portable
electronic devices. Cell phones and pagers must be turned off
and kept in the student’s purse or backpack at all times.
10. Cleats cannot be worn on the bus; they cause too much
damage
11. Students must adhere to the dress code on all school buses.
The wearing of hats is prohibited.
