Responses three to four months post-programme across all twelve items totalled 25, of the total of<br />

25. This was the only data collection point across all the questionnaires where a full response rate<br />

was achieved across all items.<br />

Warwick Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing Scale<br />

Pre-programme responses across all fourteen items ranged between 100 <strong>and</strong> 101 (of 104). Four<br />

questions yielded 100 responses while the rest received 101 responses. The four questions that<br />

received 100 responses included:<br />

Q1. I’ve been feeling optimistic about the future.<br />

Q3. I’ve been feeling relaxed.<br />

Q4. I’ve been feeling interested in other people.<br />

Q5. I’ve had energy to spare.<br />

Immediate post-programme responses across all fourteen items ranged between 37 <strong>and</strong> 38 (of 38).<br />

One question received 37 responses (Q3. I’ve been feeling relaxed), while the remainder received<br />

the full 38 responses.<br />

Responses three to four months post-programme across all items ranged between 23 <strong>and</strong> 24 (of<br />

25). Two items received 23 responses (Q7. I’ve been thinking clearly <strong>and</strong> Q12. I’ve been feeling<br />

loved), <strong>and</strong> the remaining questions received 24 responses.<br />

Social Inclusion Score<br />

Pre-programme responses across all fourteen items ranged between 97 <strong>and</strong> 101 (of 104). Question<br />

7 (In the last 3 months I have felt some people look down on me because of my criminal record)<br />

received the lowest number of responses (97), while Question 5 (In the last 3 months I have felt<br />

accepted by my family <strong>and</strong> friends) yielded 98 responses.<br />

Immediate post-programme responses across all fourteen items ranged between 37 <strong>and</strong> 38 (of 30),<br />

with the exception of Question 14 (In the last three months I have felt what I do is valued by others),<br />

which yielded 35 responses. Question 5 (In the last 3 months I have felt accepted by my family) <strong>and</strong><br />

Question 9 (In the last 3 months I have been out socially with my friends) yielded 37 responses, with<br />

all remaining questions receiving 38 responses.<br />

Responses three to four months post-programme across all items ranged between 22 <strong>and</strong> 23 (of<br />

25). Question 3 (In the last 3 months I have been to new places) <strong>and</strong> Question 11 (In the last 3<br />

months I have felt clear about my rights) received 22 responses.<br />

These response rates illustrate the variability in missing data <strong>and</strong> therefore the absence of any<br />

significant patterns of non-response. Across the three questionnaires, most questions were<br />
