“<strong>Nicolae</strong> Bălcescu” Land Forces Academy Index Military Training The student's general military training is a continuous process that is carried out throughout the entire period of the university studies by studying the subjects established in the curricula, grouped into distinct modules of military training as well as within the limits of a military training day per week throughout the academic year. Structure: a) Individual Basic Training - has a universal character and ensures the basis of the military construction, irrespective of the chosen branch or specialization; b) Specialized Individual Training - aims at initiating the students in the chosen branch/ specialization. It represents the basis in the process of forming the military specialist and in fulfilling the specific requirements of the first function c) Military Physical Training. It aims at building and improving the basic kinetic skills and their practical use by the military, according to the demands of the battlefield, to the development of the physical and psychological capacities necessary for accomplishing combat missions under any terrain and weather conditions. 10
