In subtractive mixing, the light passed by two filters (or reflected by two mixed pigments) are wavelengths that are passed by the two filters On left: first filter passes 420 - 520 nanometers (broad-band blue filter), while second passes 480 - 660 nanometers (broadband yellow filter).
