What do some of the data show?<br />
One of the employing workers indicators is the<br />
difficulty of hiring index. This measure assesses, among<br />
other things, the minimum wage for a 19-year-old<br />
worker in his or her first job. <strong>Doing</strong> <strong>Business</strong> data show<br />
the trend in the minimum wage applied by <strong>Burundi</strong><br />
(figure 12.1).<br />
