CHEVROLET DETROIT BELLE ISLE GRAND PRIX May 31 – June 2, 2013 Detroit Grand Prix 2013: Insurance Requirements In order to protect the Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix, Inc., Downtown Detroit Partnership, Inc.; Detroit Renaissance Foundation, Inc.; The city of Detroit and Penske Corporation, its subsidiaries and their respective officers, directors and trustees, shall be named as assitional insured any and all claims arising from the work performed, and products and services supplied for the Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix event, certificates of insurance with limits and coverage as described below should be specified in the RFP. Above entities are to be included as additional insured as respects general liability and auto liability. Coverage shall be primary and non-contributory and shall include a waiver of subrogation in favor of the additional insured. Each contractor/supplier/vendor should produce the appropriate certificate of insurance prior to the start of a project, and annually thereafter during active contract. Best rating of A- or better General Liability including Construction Contracts o Products/completed operations $5,000,000 Combined single limit each occurence o Owners/Contractors Protective Liability o Personal Injury o Professional Liability if contract includes design and build Auto Liability $5,000,000 Workers Compensation Employers Liability (EL) Combined single limit each occurance Statutory $1,000,000 EL Each Accident $1,000,000 EL Policy Limit $1,000,000 EL Each Employee Note: Limits specified above may be provided by a combination primary and excess/umbrella policies. 6
CHEVROLET DETROIT BELLE ISLE GRAND PRIX May 31 – June 2, 2013 There is limited space available for Team Hospitality and Motorcoaches on Belle Isle. Commitment will be accommodated on a first come first serve basis. SPACE FEES: Team Hospitality spaces $20,000 o Measure 30‟ x 70‟ includes electricity plus closed circuit TV hook-ups, water and up to 1 holding tank clean out per day (4 total) Additional team hospitality space $10,000 o Measure 15‟ x 70‟ without hook-ups Team Motorcoach spaces* $3,000 *Only standard sized motorcoaches without extended canopies are permitted o Measuring Minimum of 15‟ x 65‟ o Includes electrical service, and closed circuit TV hook-up as provided from the TV compound, and up to 1 holding tank clean-out per day (4 total) Should a team cancel or fail to use the space they have ordered within 10 days of the event, they may, at the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix‟s discretion, be charged full price for the space. TEAM CATERING o The Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix will offer a daily buffet option for race team members at the Flynn Pavilion Building. Teams may also pick up preordered box lunches at this location. 7
