Camp Fees GSHPA offers reasonable camp fees that only cover a percentage of the direct per person costs of offering summer camp. We offer a variety of ways for camp to be affordable for everyone including early registration discounts, bundling packages for those interested in attending more than one week and financial assistance for those who qualify based on financial need. Traditional Camp - $350/week Add a horseback riding session for an additonal $25. Ranch Camp - $450/week Early Bird Special Register for camp on or before April 15, 2012 and receive $15 off Traditional, Ranch or Adventure Bound (see page 15) camp price. This discount cannot be combined with the bundled packaging. Bundled Packages Sign up for two or more Traditional Camp weeks and receive $25 off each week. These must be purchased together and not paid for individually. This discount cannot be combined with the Early Bird Special. Financial Assistance Financial assistance (camperships) is available for girls registered with Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania who demonstrate a need for financial assistance. Donations from individuals, corporations, foundations and United Ways help support the campership fund. The Campership Application can be found on page 13 of this guide. The application must be submitted with your camper’s registration. Applicants will be notified as to whether or not they qualify for financial assistance and will be expected to pay any balance due by June 1, 2012. Earn Money to Spend Toward Camp! Did you know GSHPA product sales dough can be applied directly to the cost of Sleep Away Camp? If your camper chooses product sales dough* as an incentive and sells: 115-179 packages of cookies = $5 to use toward camp 180-399 packages of cookies = $15 to use toward camp 400-749 packages of cookies = $30 to use toward camp 750-1,499 packages of cookies = $55 to use toward camp 1,500+ packages of cookies = One (1) free week at Traditional Camp * Please log onto www.gshpa.org for more detailed FAQs about the use of Product Sales Dough. 10
