Adventure Bound (continued) Camp Archbald River Rats Get a load of this two week trip! During your first week of camp, you’ll learn basic canoe and camping skills to get you prepared for a trip down the Susquehanna River. The first half of the adventure, you will be able to plan your menu and practice your strokes while still participating in traditional camp activities. The second half of the trip, prepare yourself for a 75 mile expedition on the river. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and the challenging activities as you earn the canoeing segment of the GSHPA Adventurer Patch. Must be a confident swimmer. Dates: July 22-August 3, 2012 Cost: $750 Grades: 9-12 Location: Camp Archbald Adventure Pack Get a taste of this two week action packed adventure! Begin your trip on the Upper Delaware, canoeing your way down through rapids and flat water watching for Bald Eagles and checking out the scenery. Come back to camp; rest up before heading out on the West Rim trail for two nights, cool down with a rafting trip down the Pine Gorge before ending your trip with a climbing experience.
