Year <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Girl</strong> - S.T.E.M.<br />
Northwoods Day Camp features units based on age<br />
circulat<strong>in</strong>g through a variety <strong>of</strong> centers, such as nature,<br />
songs, crafts, games and swaps. <strong>Girl</strong>s also cook out, creek<br />
walk and make/renew friendships. STEM stands for Science,<br />
Technology, Eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g and Math. Camp will <strong>in</strong>corporate fun<br />
with learn<strong>in</strong>g (but mostly fun!)<br />

Treasure Island<br />
At Treasure Island Day Camp you may encounter pirates,<br />
explore unknown terra<strong>in</strong>, and search for hidden treasures.<br />
Daily activities may <strong>in</strong>clude crafts, hik<strong>in</strong>g, nature, songs, and<br />
swimm<strong>in</strong>g at <strong>the</strong> pool. A field trip will be taken on Wednesday.<br />
Juniors and teens have an opportunity to sleep at camp on<br />
Thursday night.<br />

You will learn to make your own Morse code, how to “lift”<br />
a f<strong>in</strong>gerpr<strong>in</strong>t and solve a mystery. Discount <strong>of</strong>fered to<br />
volunteers who help all week. <strong>Girl</strong>s Brownie aged and up will<br />
have <strong>the</strong> opportunity to spend one night.<br />

birthday bash! Learn about <strong>Girl</strong> Scout tradtions and <strong>Girl</strong> Scout<br />
