MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND: Established by<br />

Ethel and Pearl Latham to honor their parents and to provide<br />

assistance to full-time students who are preparing to preach<br />

or teach the gospel on a full-time basis after graduation.<br />

MRS. PAULINE LAW SCHOLARSHIP FUND: Established<br />

by the will of Mrs. Pauline Law of Granite, Okla. Income<br />

is used for ministerial students selected by the university.<br />

MAURICE AND LOIS LAWSON SCHOLARSHIP<br />

FUND: Established by Maurice and Lois Lawson to benefit<br />

students majoring in a degree program offered by the<br />

Department of Mathematics or the Department of Physical<br />

Science.<br />

DAVIS LOVING MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND:<br />

Established by Harry and Marilyn Loving to benefit needy<br />

students who are employed on a full- or part-time basis.<br />

ROGER AND MARY LUALLEN MARRIAGE AND<br />

FAMILY THERAPY SCHOLARSHIP FUND: Established<br />

by Roger and Mary Luallen to benefit students who<br />

have completed at least one semester in the Marriage and<br />

Family Therapy program and who are members in good<br />

standing of the church of Christ.<br />

CLEON AND MAXIE LYLES ENDOWED MEMORI-<br />

AL SCHOLARSHIP FUND: Established by friends of<br />

the couple to honor them for their years of Christian service.<br />

The fund provides a Trustee Scholarship for a student<br />

in Bible.<br />

EARL AND ORIA B. McCLAIN ENDOWED SCHOL-<br />

ARSHIP FUND: Established by Olga Sain for students enrolled<br />

full time at the Graduate School of Religion in<br />

Memphis, Tenn. Recipients must maintain a satisfactory<br />

grade point average and have a good reputation among faculty<br />

and students.<br />

T.C. AND KATE McCOLLUM MORRIS MEMORIAL<br />

LOAN FUND: Established by friends and relatives to assist<br />

worthy students.<br />

McCORKLE ENDOWMENT FUND: Established by J.<br />

Warren and Madalon Herren McCorkle of Dallas. Income<br />

is used to train preachers and foreign missionaries.<br />

MABEL DEAN McDONIEL ENDOWED SCHOLAR-<br />

SHIP FUND: Established by the family of Mabel Dean<br />

McDoniel as a memorial. Preference is given to students from<br />

under-developed African countries.<br />

JIM BILL AND BETTY McINTEER SCHOLARSHIP<br />

FUND: Established by friends of Jim Bill and Betty McInteer<br />

to provide scholarships to deserving students with preference<br />

to students from the Nashville, Tenn., area.<br />

JOHN AND SCOTT McLEMORE SCHOLARSHIP<br />

FUND: Established originally by John and Barbara<br />

McLemore in memory of their son Scott, and later amended<br />

in memory of John, to provide financial assistance to a<br />

worthy student from the Ouachita Mountain region of<br />

Arkansas. Garland and surrounding counties receive first preference.<br />

Recipient should be a member of the church of<br />

Christ and preferably a junior or senior.<br />

C.C. McQUIDDY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP<br />

FUND: Established by the family of the late C.C. McQuiddy<br />

to assist a worthy student.<br />

CATHY McRAE MEADOWS ENDOWED SCHOL-<br />

ARSHIP FUND: Established by her husband, Michael<br />

Ross Meadows, on the occasion of their 20th wedding anniversary<br />

to assist young men and women.<br />

DANA WILBURN MARTIN ENDOWED SCHOLAR-<br />

SHIP FUND: Established by the parents of Dana Wilburn<br />

Martin in her honor for financial assistance to female applicants<br />

majoring in computer science.<br />

MAXIE O’DANIEL MASSIE SCHOLARSHIP FUND:<br />

Established by Hulette J. Massie at <strong>Harding</strong> Graduate<br />

School of Religion for students from Mississippi or who plan<br />

to work in Mississippi.<br />

MAYS MISSION FOR THE HANDICAPPED: A religious,<br />

charitable, non-denominational, non-profit organization<br />

dedicated to assisting the physically and spiritually disabled.<br />

Students must document a substantial physical disability,<br />

financial need, a cumulative score of 18 on the ACT or<br />

an equivalent test; be enrolled full-time in a four-year program;<br />

and maintain a GPA of 2.3. Consideration will be given to<br />

part-time students providing documentation from a physician<br />

stating that full-time status would or could be detrimental<br />

to their health.<br />

MISSIONARY CHILDREN’S SCHOLARSHIP: Established<br />

by Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Shewmaker for students with<br />

financial need with preference to students whose parents have<br />

served 15 years or more in the mission field.<br />

MARKS MISSISSIPPI CHURCH OF CHRIST<br />

ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP FOR PHYSICS: First<br />

consideration goes to junior or senior physics major with a<br />

G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher who has demonstrated involvement<br />

in a local congregation of the churches of Christ or who has<br />

been involved with mission activities. Second consideration<br />

given to sophomore physics major with a G.P.A. of 3.0 or<br />

higher. Third consideration given to junior or senior majoring<br />

in Bible with a G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher.<br />

NANCY MEADOWS ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP<br />

FUND: Established by Russell W. Meadows in honor of his<br />

wife, Nancy, to provide scholarships to students seeking the<br />

master of science in marriage and family therapy degree.<br />

NONA MEADOWS SCHOLARSHIP: Established in<br />

honor of Nona Meadows by her three sons, Mike, Rusty, and<br />

Scott, for a full-time student with financial need, with preference<br />

to be given to students from El Dorado, Ark.<br />

LOUIS WILSON MENK ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP<br />

FUND: Established by Jack Stephens in memory of Mr.<br />

Menk who served on the Stephens Inc. Board, with preference<br />

to students from Arkansas.<br />

HOMER AND JOYCE MONTGOMERY SCHOLAR-<br />

SHIP FUND: Established by Homer and Joyce Mont-
