associated with the work being performed. This one-day workshop provides insights into
the key elements of executive level work in the public service. Participants will review the
contents of the “Guide to Writing Work Descriptions for the Executive Group”. The workshop
includes case studies on different executive level roles and provides the opportunity to
discuss specific issues with respect to describing roles and accountabilities that are specific
• A fresh perspective on creating new and revising existing EX Group work descriptions;
• An understanding of what is important in the work performed for inclusion in the work descriptions.
