The new Lignal catalogue is available!
From now on, the new edition of the
Lignal catalogue is available for every
woodworking manufacturer. As updated
and completely revised version, the
Lignal catalogue offers a wealth of
information regarding the modern
surface treatment of wood or similar
materials.
Have a look and inform yourself
Every user will quickly find the suitable
lacquer material, if he follows the easy
decision-aids about the field of application,
carrier or surface structure. On the
following product pages, the chosen
product is described in detail. Typical
features, technical data, clear order hints
as well as a corresponding processing
example are completing these pages.
Certified safety
One top product each from every sector
e.g. the Lignal ECO TOP-Sealer or the
Lignal UNA PUR was certified by many,
independent test institutes. These tests
are concerning the VOC-emission, DIN
EN 71 part 3, DIN V 53160, toxproof,
DIN 68861, pvc-resistance, formaldehydeexemption
or the DIN 4102.
Proven and new products on more than
50 pages
On 53 pages the user will get information
about well-known products, but also
about new developments. So, the new
Lignal UNA-COLOR got its place here.
A top class coloured lacquer with excellent
covering power and good metal resistance.
Or the complete system of aromates-free
PUR-lacquers with two base coats and
two top coats. It should be noted that the
PUR-Diamond sealer is even resistant to
steel wool. New are the innovative UVlacquers,
which are specially adjusted for
manual application. The new range of
UV-lacquers consists of one UV-filler, two
UV-sealing lacquers and one UV-multicoat
lacquer.
Special subjects
For completion of the standard range of
innovative Lignal-products, separate pages
concerning specific surface subjects are
added in the actual version of the catalogue.
So, for the fields of glass coatings

the chance to choose your own desired
colour tone.
By putting the foils on surfaces, which
are pre-treated with Lignal base coat,
you will get a reasonably true picture
of the following coating.
If you combine different foils you will

shading of colourless nitrocelluloseor
polyurethane lacquer systems.

July 2000.

Which region are you serving?

My delivery district is the area of
Karlsruhe, Pforzheim, Heilbronn,
Ludwigsburg and Leonberg.
lacktuell:
Which products are in your range?
Mr. Finkbeiner:
My range includes lacquers, stains, oils,
waxes, abrasives, adhesives and spraying
supplies, so all the joiner needs for
a good surface.
lacktuell:
Where are your work centres?
Mr. Finkbeiner:
The work centre is the mixing of
coloured lacquers and stains, this is the
most time-consuming part, followed by
delivery and consultation, which take
up more or less the same.
lacktuell:
So your work centre is the
individual mixing of coloured
lacquers and stains. What do your
customers think of this service?

My customers are very pleased
with this service and often make use
of it. I myself, see it as a very good
instrument for a close relationship with
the customer.

What are your plans for the near
future?
Mr. Finkbeiner:
For the near future I am planning to
extent my work in the field of parquet
lacquers, in order to win new customers
in another line of business, which
will consolidate or even improve my
position in the market.

UV-Lacquer systems – now optimized
for manual application
Lignal-UV-Lacquer systems are produced
of high-quality polyesters or
polyacrylates and after curing they
result in extremely resistant surfaces.
Using this system you will drastically
reduce the solvents, which is
especially important concerning
the VOC-decree.
Advantages of the Lignal-UV-
Lacquer systems:
• Low consumption/m 2 because of
roller coating
• Low losses of material because of
high efficiency of the application
by roller coating
• Hardened in fractions of a
second and can be further treated
immediately
• Lowest solvents content of the
roller coating systems
• If so-called “one-man finishing
lines“ are used, only low room and
manpower is required.
