NATIVE VEGETATION CONTINUED Objective NV4 - Protect and enhance threatened flora species and communities by: Action / Activity NV4.1 Developing an Action Plan for the reintroduction of rare or threatened species to high quality Council-managed conservation sites in Hume. NV5.1 Developing Conservation Management Plans for the following very high and high priority sites: NV5 - Strategically manage conservation sites on Councilmanaged land by: 1. Evans Street Grassland 2. Frog Court & Rushwood Drive 3. Arcadia Way 4. Greenvale Recreation Reserve 5. Emu Valley Reserve 6. Roadside Conservation Areas 7. Mt Ridley 8. Correa 9. Sunbury Pop Festival Site 10. Bulla Gold Tree Hill Reserve & Bulla School Hill. NV5.2 Ranking the significance of all Council-managed conservation assets to assist in prioritising Council’s weed control, pest control, ecological burning, fencing and revegetation programs. NV6 - Strategically monitor conservation assets on Councilmanaged land by: NV6.1 Developing a suitable basic site monitoring approach that will enable the quality and quantity of native vegetation within Councilmanaged conservation sites to be monitored. NV6.2 Expand the Matted Flax-lily monitoring program to include all Council-managed sites that support this species.
