4) Finance The budget has been estimated on the basis of 1,300 participants including 300 students. The expense for the participants will be minimized by raising substantial amounts of financial contributions from outside sources, including government, national research centers, and industries. The registration fee of US $ 500 (pre) – 550 (on-site) will cover the scientific sessions, congress materials such as book of abstracts and CD, coffee breaks, welcoming party, traditional conference excursion. Outside funding will be raised to provide lunch for students and regular participants during the Congress. More than 200 students will be awarded partial financial supports of different extents to promote their participation in the Congress. The selection will be made competitively after consultation with the IACS. Additional financial supports will be provided to scholars from developing countries after the evaluation of their needs. The budget reflects the 10% levy of registration fees to the IACS. A professional conference organizer will be employed to assist the operation of the Congress. - 19 -
