‣ Description of the criteria which would initiate a review of the <strong>HSE</strong> <strong>Case</strong> information.<br />

‣ Description of the arrangements (including responsibilities) for reviewing and updating<br />

the <strong>HSE</strong> <strong>Case</strong> information.<br />

Demonstration that the Drilling Contractor is committed to continually improving the<br />

management of risks and environmental impacts associated with MODU or rig operations.<br />

What in the Drilling Contractor’s Management System demonstrates assurance to external<br />

stakeholders that these expectations are achieved?<br />

‣ Statement of the Drilling Contractor’s commitment to continuous improvement, by:<br />

applying and contributing to the identification and development of industry standards<br />

and best practices.<br />

participating in the development of legislation and regulations.<br />

reviewing and assessing new technology.<br />

reviewing and assessing the application of new legislations and regulations and<br />

implementing necessary changes within their management system.<br />

1.2.7 Action Plan / Recommendations<br />

External Stakeholder Expectations<br />

Demonstration that the Drilling Contractor addresses recommendations and gaps in <strong>HSE</strong><br />

performance; such as those identified as part of the Risk Assessment process within the<br />

<strong>HSE</strong> <strong>Case</strong>, and follows-up and closes-out agreed corrective actions.<br />

What in the Drilling Contractor’s Management System demonstrates assurance to external<br />

stakeholders that these expectations are achieved?<br />

‣ Arrangements for the review of recommendations identified during the Risk Assessment<br />

process (Part 4), including:<br />

References to the studies or sources from which each recommendation originated.<br />

‣ Arrangements for follow-up and close-out of agreed corrective actions, including:<br />

Persons/positions responsible for implementing each recommendation.<br />

Target dates for completion of each recommendation.<br />

‣ Arrangements for verifying the close-out of all recommendations.<br />

A means of providing the <strong>HSE</strong> <strong>Case</strong> information to internal and external stakeholders.<br />
