To be eligible to appear at the term-end examination (TEE) in any course, you are required to<br />

fulfill the following three conditions/formalities.<br />

1) You should have pursued the prescribed courses.<br />

2) You should have completed or submitted the assignment responses for the respective<br />

course(s).<br />

3) You should have submitted the examination form in time for the given term-end examination.<br />

Examination date-sheets (schedule which indicate the date and time of examination for each<br />

course) are sent to all the programme study centres approximately five months in advance. The<br />

same is also notified through the <strong>IGNOU</strong> Newsletter from time to time. Thus, normally, the<br />

date-sheet for June term-end examination is sent in the month of January and for the December<br />

term-end examination it is sent in the month of July of the given year.<br />

It is a pre-requisite to submit the Examination Form with a fee of Rs.60/- per course in the form<br />

of demand draft drawn in favour of <strong>IGNOU</strong> and payable at New Delhi or at the city where the<br />

concerned Regional Centre to which you are submitting your form is located. Copies of the<br />

examination forms are available at Programme Study Centres, Regional Centres, and Student<br />

Evaluation Division at the Headquarters at New Delhi. The form can also be downloaded from<br />

<strong>IGNOU</strong> website: www.ignou.ac.in. A specimen copy of the Examination Form is given at the<br />

end of this programme guide (See Appendix – IV) for your information and reference only.<br />

Only one form is to be submitted for all the courses you are appearing in one term-end<br />

examination.<br />

• Normally your Study Centre is the Examination Centre. In case you wish to take examination<br />

at a particular centre, the code of your chosen centre is be filled up as Examination Centre<br />

Code. However, if Examination Centre chosen by you is not activated, you will be allotted<br />

any other Examination Centre under the same Region.<br />

• Change of Examination Centre, once allotted, is not permissible under any circumstances.<br />

The filled-in examination form is to be submitted to the concerned Regional Centre under which<br />

your examination centre falls. The dates for submission of Examination Forms are given below.<br />
