This chart breaks up the comments suggesting improvement about networking from the student
evaluations from all three days.
Sample comments for each category are as follows:
Timing
The 10 minute sessions were at times too long a time, maybe go to 1-8 minute sessions.
Possibly more time to get through stuff.
Hosts
Nothing against the presenter tonight, but I think a women should speak about
prof./business/casual attire. He didn't really address a woman's clothing.
If possible find better professionals
Material
Talk more about interviews & the kinds of questions to ask during them.
Possibly suggesting more topics to discuss in introduction conversations, as well as how to
handle "quiet" people.
Types of Professionals
Professionals in the technology field, especially when required for a technology class.
Would have likes to have more hosts from different areas.
Facilities
Find ways to make it easier to hear the presenters in groups.
Loud space-hard to hear speakers sometimes.
Format
More of interactive, all together w/ the circles during workshop it put you in small groups.
For interviewing it would be more productive to have each individual speak to a group in a
interview style setting.
Other
Large print on nametag.
Overall
Waste of time.
The first part was not very effective.
