Dear guests, 

The ‘Bellunesi B&B Quality Promise’ Project was born with the 

objective to enhance the Bed & Breakfasts of the region which provide 

a special attention to quality and services offered to tourists. 

The intention is to promote this sector of the hotel industry, which 

has seen growing development in the last years, also in the province 

of Belluno. The owners, who have joined this project, are required, 

through a form of self certifi cation, to guarantee a series of requisites 

to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. The advantage 

for the guests is that they will have clearer and more detailed information 

about the accommodation, in which they will be staying, 

available to them and on the type of service the family offers. In fact 

the B&Bs which participate in this initiative must be able to offer a 

welcome for each guest and share a love for the countryside, the 

splendid Bellunesi Dolomites, art, culture and local typical products. 

Through presentations and photos, each of them has chosen to put 

forward the features of their own home but also of the family itself, 

to allow Italian and foreign tourists to get to know them even before 

welcoming them into their home.

QUALITY GUARANTEE 

General Rules 

The Quality Promise represents an instrument to guarantee a standard of quality so 

as to meet the tourists’ needs who prefer to stay in a Bed & Breakfast. This type of 

structure offers a particular kind of hospitality as a family makes their own house available 

and offer accommodation and breakfast to the guests. The aim is not to create 

a uniform solution for everyone, but to make the most of this type of accommodation. 

Each house has in fact its own history and is different to the others in structure and 

also the background of the people who live there. It is exactly for this reason that each 

house is unique. 

The laws of the Regione Veneto limit the number of bedrooms to three that can be 

available to guests in each B&B. They are therefore small houses which are based on 

authenticity and human contact between the family and guests. The owner commits 

with the signing of this document to assure all of the points are carried out in the 

following list. 

Outside the house 

The B&B house must be easily detectable by positioning the signs correctly. The outside 

of the buildings should be clean and in a well-maintained state. 

Welcome and guarantees offered to guests 

The owners of the B&Bs guarantee to: 

always assure their availability or that of an adult member of the family to look after 

reservations or the needs of their guests; 

welcome the guests informing them about the areas available to them, the services of 

the B&B and the potential closing times of the house; 

guarantee access to the fridge; 

help guests in fi nding alternative accommodation in the event that all the rooms are 

occupied in their B&B; 

provide clean and well-aired rooms, guaranteeing to clean the rooms daily; 

always guarantee their guests access to their own room; 

manage the B&B giving attention to the protection of the environment (for example; 

recycling, using energy saving devices).

Breakfast 

The owner of the B&B must offer its guests a large, varied breakfast consisting of 

high-quality ingredients; the owner guarantees to use preferably typical products of 

the Belluno province, respecting the rules in vigour. 

Bedroom 

The bedroom consists of a private space for the guests therefore it must be looked after 

by the host family in a particular way. The room must be equipped with a minimum 

of a bed: single, twin or double, bedside table/s and lamp, wardrobe, a small table and 

a seat. The owner of the B&B guarantees to offer bed linen in perfect condition, and to 

arrange to change it twice a week and always for the arrival of new guests. 

Bathroom 

The bathroom for the guests must have a sink, a toilet, bath or shower, a plug socket, 

a small bin; the owner must offer guests linen for the bathroom in perfect condition 

comprising of hand towels, bath towels and a bath rug and must offer guests a hairdryer 

and a washing line 

Parking 

The owner of the B&B guarantees to always fi nd a parking space for guests; if the 

house does not have its own car park, guests will be given directions to the closest car 

park and the rules of said car park (free or paying). 

Information for guests 

The owner of the house must prepare a visible and accessible area where this Quality 

Promise is on show and where the guests can consult information of various genres; 

useful numbers including emergency numbers, various services, local fairs and proposed 

visits in the region. 

Insurance cover 

The person in charge of the B&B must have an adequate comprehensive insurance 

policy protecting against civil liabilities for its guests as well as the owner.

Santa Croce Lake. You can admire the marvellous view of the lake from

The small old town of Pieve d’Alpago rests on a hill at the foot of Mount 

Dolada, destination for hiking and paragliding fans. The position is perfect 

as well for windsurfi ng fans, thanks to its vicinity to Lake S.Croce. It is

The B&B “La Genzianella” is housed in a private villa with a large garden 

and parking in the resort of Caralte di Perarolo of Cadore, a typical and 

quiet mountain town in the heart of the eastern Dolomites. The two bedrooms 

are situated in a lovely and welcoming loft conversion. The house 

is a few minutes from Pieve di Cadore; 20km from the centre of Auronzo 

di Cadore and Longarone. The striking Cortina d’Ampezzo, Sappada, Val 

Comelico and Val Zoldana can all be reached in no time; and about a 100 

kilometres away you can visit the romantic city of Venice. Small pets are

The house, a family home from the XVII century, is located a few feet 

away from the square with the statue of the painter, Tiziano Vecellio, whose 

works show the colours of the Dolomites Mountains. The altitude of 

900 metres allows for a healthy rest to recuperate; for those who are 

more energetic there is the possibility for many hikes, especially along the 

cycle-pedestrian path following the old steam train tracks from Calalzo di

relaxing moments. The house belonging to the young Gaiardi family is 

situated on the road which leads from the town of Alleghe to the Pezzé 

Plains. This is where you can fi nd the ski slopes and the ski lifts of Civetta 

Mountain. Thanks to its position you can enjoy a pleasant view of the

of Comelico Superiore, also called the ‘balcony of Comelico’ for its panoramic 

and high position over the valley. The B&B is housed in a typical

for the two bedrooms. Breakfast is served in the ‘Stua’, a typical mountain 

dining room, from where you can enjoy an enchanting landscape and

The B&B “Casa Maddalena” has three bedrooms available for its guests, 

of which two are double, and one twin, and two bathrooms. The accommodation 

is located on the edge of the town and has ample parking for 

its guests. In winter it is possible to reach the cross country ski slopes on 

foot, as well as the ski school and the ice rink. It is the perfect base in

the Feltrina Valley (500m above sea). It is situated inside the ‘Dolomiti Bellunesi’

Set in a detached house in the village of Vignole on the Agordina road, 

the B&B offers its guests a quiet and relaxing stay. Surrounded by a large 

sunny garden with a playground and two covered garages, the building 

is located in the area just before the ‘Dolomiti Bellunesi’ National Park. 

It is a few kilometres from the Mis Valley, Candaten, the historic city of 

Belluno, the Nevegàl Mountain and the Superski domain of the Dolomites. 

There are 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms available - one single, one twin 

and one double - , a kitchen and a living room to relax in. On request bikes 

can be borrowed and we can send you some information. Please book

It is in a restructured rural house, situated at 605 metres above sea level 

in the town of Sedico, only 7 km from Belluno. The place offers a variety 

of possibilities for lovers of the environment and sports: trekking, climbing, 

mountain biking, skiing, tennis and fi shing. The B&B has 3 bedrooms and 

a superb location to go hiking in the ‘Dolomiti Bellunesi’ National Park. It 

is easily reached by public means of transport and on request there is a 

shuttle bus available. There is a large breakfast with local products available, 

as well as all kind of touristic information. The house is constantly 

kept clean as well as changing the bed linen.

The B&B is located in the small village of Prapavei in the commune of Sedico 

less than 10km from Belluno and Feltre and 20km from Agordo. The 

house, owned by the same family for many decades, has been internally 

refurbished and in a way to enjoy being in the countryside, surrounded by 

the splendid Mountains of Belluno. The rooms take their names from the 

colour of their doors, decorated personally by the owner: the blue room 

has a double bed, the green one- larger - has two single beds. There is 

parking available for guests, as well as a garden, which is perfect for 

children.

The Bed and Breakfast “Al Portico” is situated in a quiet and sunny location 

in a village next to the centre of Trichiana. The restructured building 

has maintained all the characteristics of the traditional houses of Valbelluna; 

the porch-way and the balconies. The building has one bedroom with 

three beds, with a private bathroom and balcony, and another two bedrooms 

in the loft with views of the Dolomites and the Prealpi. The garden 

has a playground for children and deck chairs where you can sunbathe. 

Breakfast is served in the breakfast room or under the porch-way in the 

summer with typical ecologic products from local producers.
