Resetting the Device <strong>Commands</strong><br />
URST Reset<br />
Tells the SocketWireless device to perform a software reset on the CPU<br />
Format: ATURST<br />
Example:<br />
Type: ATURST<br />
Reply: None<br />
Notes:<br />
• This unique Command does not reply with “OK” or “ERROR” because of the internal UART data<br />
processing limitations and response timing.<br />
• You can send the reset command through the UART or over the <strong>Bluetooth</strong> RF connection.<br />
FRST Factory Reset<br />
Resets the SocketWireless back to factory defaults. Example:<br />
Format: ATFRST<br />
Example:<br />
Type: ATFRST<br />
Reply: OK<br />
RESET COMPLETE<br />
or<br />
ERROR<br />
Note: You can send the factory reset command through the UART or over the <strong>Bluetooth</strong> RF<br />
connection.<br />
SSW, 0 Set Bypass for Hardware Factory Configuration Reset PIO(4)<br />
Use this command in replace of physically connecting PIO(4) to ground to prevent an inadvertent<br />
factory configuration reset.<br />
Format: ATSSW,0,<br />
Parameters: Enable/Disable:<br />
0 = PIO(4) factory reset enabled<br />
1 = PIO(4) factory reset disabled<br />
Example: Type: ATSSW,0,1<br />
Reply: OK<br />

Read by Using: ATRSW,0<br />
RSW, 0 Read Bypass for Hardware Factory Configuration Reset PIO(4)<br />
Use this command to read the PIO(4) factory reset enable/disable register state.<br />
