March 19 93
I am a Sergeant in the Devon & Cornwall Constabulary stationed at
Liskeard in Ccrnwall.
At about 0110 hrs on the morning of Wednesday 31st March 1993 I
of silvery-white. They were reasonably clos~ together but as I could not
begin to estimate their distance from me, I likewise cc.nnct estimate how
far they were from ec.ch other.
As I negotiated the bend I continued to observe them when I
sud~enly
saw them begin to move what appeared to me vertically upwards. They maintained
a parallel course and identical speed and as they approached the
"one o'clock" positior; they began to leave vapour trails. I broc:ght m~
ed off the engine and got out. My locatio~ now was
