Student Final Year Projects
What is it about ?.▌▌▌▌▌▌▌
As a graduation requirement, most of our undergraduate students are required to complete a final
year project. CityU has a strong emphasize on application-oriented training and collaboration with
the industrial and business sectors, and CUBIC members can propose projects relevant to their
business for students to work on. During the whole project period, a University staff will supervise
and help monitor the performance of the student. The industrial supervisor will give directions and
provide necessary information and resources during the course of project planning, design and
implementation.
What is it for ?.▌▌▌▌▌▌▌
turning students’ knowledge into practice through industrial projects;
enhancing students’ problem-solving and communication skills;
bringing new ideas, insights as well as solutions to the partner company;
providing partner companies with opportunities to identify suitable candidates to work for
their business.
fostering mutually beneficial partnership between the University and the industry.
Who are the students and what they can help ?.▌▌▌▌▌▌▌
Your project proposals will be relayed to the relevant departments of the University. Please click
here (http://www.cityu.edu.hk/cityu/dpt-acad/index.htm) for the list of departments of the
University.
How does it work ?.▌▌▌▌▌▌▌
