transmitters use modular power amplifiers and<br />

PTEK FM Transmitters<br />
Designed and manufactured in the<br />
USA, PTEK solid-state, no-tune FM<br />
exciters/transmitters cover 150 to<br />
500 watt power ranges and offer full<br />
remote control ability. All three models,<br />
the 150-watt FM150ES, the 300-watt<br />
FM300ES and the 500-watt FM500ES<br />
have built-in FSK ID (programmable<br />
from the front panel) for Translator<br />
use. Frequency stability is ensured<br />
by using PLL (phase locked loop)<br />
frequency synthesis from a highly<br />
stable crystal oscillator. The Series<br />
includes over-temperature protection<br />
and VSWR fold back to protect the unit<br />
by automatically reducing power to a<br />
safe operating level. Digital front panel<br />
metering indicates forward and reverse<br />
