• Network Architecture & Planning. Verizon Network Architecture and Planning services help
enterprise customers closely align their technology initiatives with their business objectives. Utilizing
a phased approach, Verizon engineers develop an architecture and technology roadmap to guide
customers from legacy to next-generation networks in support of their business objectives. Verizon
engineers start by conducting a high-level assessment to gain an understanding of the current network.
Next, through an interview process and review of customer planning documents, architectural goals are
defined and prioritized. In the next phase, architecture alternatives are defined and evaluated, and a
recommendation developed. Lastly, a transition plan to guide the customer through the migration is
assembled. An executive briefing describing the process and results is provided to the customer.
