‘Ride with Deb’ through Dry Creek Valley with
Dutcher Crosing Winery Proprietor, Debra Mathy
Free and open to all levels; 9 to 11 a.m. the third Friday
of each month through October 19
With the rainy season over, enjoy a bike ride with Debra
Mathy, an avid cyclist and proprietor of Dutcher Crossing
Winery. “I would like to invite cycling enthusiasts with a bike to
join me on a two-hour scenic tour of the northern valley
vineyards,” said Debra. Starting at Dutcher Crossing Winery,
Debra will lead a casual ride through the valley’s verdant
vineyards from 9 to 11 a.m. the third Friday of each month,
through October 19.
A lover of bicycles since childhood, a bike is Debra first
choice of transportation. Her last gift from her late father was a
vintage high-wheel bicycle, showcased on all of the winery’s
wine labels. A replica resides in the tasting room, and on
occasion she actually rides it! For the “Ride with Deb,” she will
choose one of her road bikes to lead the tour through the vines.
For more information about the “Ride with Deb,” call the
winery at (707) 431-2700. Visit the website at
www.dutchercrossingwinery.com. Dutcher Crossing is located
at 8533 Dry Creek Road in Geyserville.
