If you are reading this, you are more than likely an Arbonne Consultant
or considering becoming one. Use your life’s major experiences to help
guide you in your Arbonne business. One of those life lessons for me was
running a marathon. Every time I run I cannot help but correlate the activity
to building a business with Arbonne. I found that in running a
marathon, there were people who always questioned how anyone could
ever accomplish running 26 miles straight. I tell them, “Anyone can do it.
You just put one foot in front of the other and decide to go all the way to
the finish.”
A marathon runner must first commit to run the race. At NTC 2005 Las
Vegas, we learned that in Arbonne, the first and most important thing you
need to do is decide. One year ago, at NTC 2004 Texas, my team and
I celebrated becoming a Region. Despite the success, my fears and
doubts crept in and I questioned whether I would ever be able to reach
NVP. Where would I be today if I would have allowed my insecurities to
take control? Are your dreams and visions for where you will go in your
future strong enough to move you past your fears? This year at NTC 2005
Las Vegas, my team and I were placing final orders to finish qualification
for Nation. With Arbonne, your life has the potential to change over the
next year as well, but only if you first decide that you want it to. The
course has already been paved by the VPs who have gone before you
and established paths to success. Do not second-guess where the path is
taking you. Trust it and run.
When I began my Arbonne business, my perception of an NVP was of
perfection. How could someone get to NVP without already being professional,
eloquent and polished? I have since learned that most of an
NVP’s strengths are refined on the way to the top, just as a runner who
has decided to run a marathon does not wake up the first morning of
training and attempt to run 26 miles. Realistically, they get up and run a
short distance, knowing that their strengthening and building endurance
will be getting them to the finish line. A business builder with Arbonne
must also plot their course, set their sights on the finish, and know that the
qualities they already possess will be tested and refined, and result in an
NVP who shares knowledge from the experience.
Tap into the strength of your human spirit. We have all heard stories of
people who have beaten the odds, who have overcome immense trials to
reach their goals. If you were to tap into a fraction of the strength of spirit
and sustain it, nothing could stop you from reaching to your goal. Do
that and expect to experience success, not only in your Arbonne business,

tain life that you want to live? Are you living out your passions? Are you
spending time with the people you love?
Two-and-a-half years ago, I was a fitness director and personal trainer at
a country club in Edmond, Oklahoma. I loved many aspects of my job and
had fun helping people with many of their health and fitness goals.
However, I was also a wife and a mother, and I loved this job even more!
My hours of working early in the morning and at night did not serve my
family’s schedule. My husband and I had dreams for living our lives together;
and we did not see a way that our current jobs were going to provide
financially what we needed to make those dreams come true. We had a
long list of desires. We wanted to have another baby, and of course, not
have to put her in daycare. We wanted to give our children the chance to
travel the world, instead of just learning about it through pictures in a book.
Our debts and financial responsibilities limited us in the decisions we could
make for our family. Does this sound familiar? My dream was to invest my
time and money so I could leave a legacy for our children and many generations
to come. I had so many desires to fulfill, but up to that point, did
not have the finances or time to attain them. That is no way to live. Have
you reached a crossroads? Are you fed up with what you have now and
want to do something about it? I was. Now is your chance to create the life
you choose and to grow into the leader you were meant to be.
Along my journey I have had many people who have been my support and
cheered me on to the finish line of NVP. First, I must thank God for guiding
me in this life toward the destiny He set out for me. With Him I can do
all things. He has blessed me with a family that humbles me.
love you. You are my motivation, joy and heart. Ethan, our big boy — you
have been such a helper to daddy and me. You are always there to make
us laugh and keep things fun. Thank you for the encouraging words, hugs,
prayers and being so patient. You are a great big brother to your little sis,
and she looks up to you so much. God has big plans for you! He has also
given us Chloe Elise, our sweet baby girl who came in God’s perfect timing.
Chloe, we waited so long for you and you have been more than we
could have ever expected. You light up my heart! To my mom and dad,
John and Teresa Donoho: I love you both so much and thank you for
always teaching me by example how to work hard and love others. You
taught me that I could accomplish anything I set my mind to. To my parents-in-law,
Vickie and Rob Fisher: Thank you for introducing me to
Arbonne and for loving us always. To the rest of our family: I want to say
thank you for all you impart on our family’s lives.
We also have friends who support us and treat us like we are family. Thank
you to the Fuzzell’s and Smittle’s. True friendships like yours are priceless!

so I could fly. Thank you for believing in me for so long and for supporting
me. I must say I have met no one in this business who knows
how to love and nurture others better than you do. I have the privilege
of calling you a friend.
And, of course, big dreams like this do not happen alone — it is only
from the persistent and concentrated efforts of my incredible team. I
dreamed all of you into my business and you all are better than I could
have ever imagined. I am humbled each day to be your NVP. To ERVP
Paula Winter: You are an ENVP-in-the-making. Your hard work and
persistence has already paid off and I cannot wait to see where your
Arbonne journey leads. You are a leader and example to so many.
You walk the talk and encourage others along the way. To RVP Tiffany
Crosier: You are my best friend first and foremost. I love having the
privilege of working with you in this business — and what a ride it has
been! Your work ethic amazes me. You are so professional, savvy in
the midst of this numbers game and love the people on your team so

when you are building a business with Arbonne. Time and money are
often what we lack in getting started, but all you really need is the
desire to create it. Now, it is your turn to step up to the starting line.
The gun has already gone off. The path has already been paved, and
there are runners in front of you to show you how to get there. Decide
to run the Arbonne “marathon.” Whether you walk or sprint, it does not
