Medical consultations (male and female medical practitioners) are available by
appointment to the students, staff and community. Students are bulk billed.
(Available at the Hawthorn campus only but open to all SUT members)
Campus Nurses on all campuses, are available on a walk-in basis or by
appointment and provide:

Assessment and Triage. Treatment and referral as necessary in a clinical
setting.
Health counselling including:
Immunization, general and overseas
Nutrition
Sexually Transmitted Infections (sexual health)
Contraception
Health and lifestyle management
Referral to community centres such as doctors, hospitals, dentists,
physiotherapy, drug and alcohol agencies as indicated
Rest rooms with nurse observation if unwell and available for those
wishing to rest or meditate
Health Promotions Programs
Naturopath, Homeopath, Acupuncture and Therapeutic Massage by
appointment (Available at Hawthorn campus only)
