ALUMNI, STAFF & STUDENT ACTIVITIES<br />
Class <strong>of</strong> 1976 Reunion<br />
On November 11 and 12, 2011 the <strong>College</strong><br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>Pharmacy</strong> welcomed back to campus<br />
the Class <strong>of</strong> 1976. Drs. Steve Abel and Steve<br />
Scott served as co-chairs for the event that<br />
hosted twenty-two <strong>of</strong> their fellow classmates.<br />
Retired faculty Nick Popovich, Mary Losey,<br />
Bob Bennett, Pat Fletcher, and Stan Shaw<br />
also attended the weekend’s events and<br />
enjoyed reconnecting with their former<br />
students. Alumni enjoyed a building and<br />
campus tour as well as roundtables with<br />
current pharmacy students on Friday<br />
afternoon. There was a lovely reunion<br />
dinner later that evening at the Holiday Inn<br />
Select in downtown Lafayette. Saturday’s<br />
tailgate at the Birck Boilermaker Golf<br />
Complex was a nice start before the<br />
Ohio State football game.<br />

APhA Annual Meeting<br />
The <strong>College</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Pharmacy</strong> held an Alumni and Friends<br />
Reception at the APhA meeting in New Orleans on<br />
March 11, <strong>2012</strong>. Over fifty alumni, friends and students<br />
attended the reception at the Hilton Riverside Hotel.<br />
Attendees enjoyed meeting with Dean Craig Svensson<br />
and the seventeen <strong>Pharmacy</strong> students just as much as<br />
eating the great New Orleans food!<br />
