• Viable cysts are non enhancing, degenerating are enhancing<br />

• Calcifications<br />

T1 enhanced<br />

• Normally unattached <strong>and</strong><br />

can occasionally move<br />

between ventricles<br />

• Most frequently located in<br />

<strong>the</strong> fourth ventricle,<br />

followed by <strong>the</strong> third<br />

• Can block circulation <strong>of</strong><br />

cerebrospinal fluid<br />
