-educated first by a private tutor, then in the Centralschule<br />
at Ohrl<strong>of</strong>f and finally at the Co~merce School<br />
-served in the Selbstschutz<br />
-had to flee to the Criuea in 1919<br />
-served in the White ar~y in which he placed ereat hope<br />
-inducted into the Red army where he served for two years<br />
-returned to Ohrl<strong>of</strong>f after his release in 1921<br />
