1. I have read both the <strong>ARTC</strong> Applicant Guidelines and the <strong>ARTC</strong> Criteria and Guidelines relevant to my country of training and<br />

understand the requirements for lodging an <strong>ARTC</strong> application and providing supporting evidence.<br />

2. I understand that I am ineligible to be granted an <strong>ARTC</strong> if I hold an Offshore Technical Skills Record in the same trade and<br />

have not completed my <strong>Australia</strong>n context training and supervised employment requirements.<br />

3. I understand that if I have completed my <strong>Australia</strong>n context training and supervised employment requirements, I must submit<br />

a certified copy of my relevant <strong>Australia</strong>n qualification to prove completion and that if I do not, my <strong>ARTC</strong> application will not be<br />

granted. Where an application is refused under these circumstances, applicants are not eligible for a refund of <strong>ARTC</strong> fees.<br />

TRADE EXPERIENCE<br />

20. I understand that the documents acceptable as evidence to a Local Committee, as proof of trade experience, are stipulated in<br />

section 2 of the <strong>ARTC</strong> Applicant Guidelines and that the documents I provide as evidence with this application must comply<br />

with these requirements.<br />

photographs, contracts of employment etc, those documents will not be considered as evidence because they do not<br />

PART 9 - DECLARATION AND PRIVACY STATEMENT<br />

TRA collects information from applicants and their nominated representatives for the purposes of assessing whether an applicant has suitable skills in a<br />

nominated trade. Information collected from applicants and their nominated representatives and other information collected during the processing of<br />

applications is managed under the Privacy Act 1988.<br />

TRA may disclose all or some of the information collected to other areas of the Department of Industry for the purposes of conducting investigations and<br />

for the purposes of ensuring compliance with relevant laws, awards and/or standards.<br />

TRA may disclose all or some of the information collected to other agencies or individuals for the purposes of processing applications, verifying evidence<br />

provided with applications, and assessing whether an applicant has suitable skills in a nominated trade.<br />

TRA may disclose information collected to an applicant's former employer and/or training provider for the purposes of verifying evidence provided with<br />

applications and for assessing applications.<br />

TRA may disclose all or some of the information collected, including information on assessment outcomes, to the Department of Immigration and<br />

Border Protection (DIBP) for the purpose of conducting investigations. TRA may disclose all or some of the information collected to state licensing bodies for<br />

the purposes of those bodies verifying any claims made to them.<br />

Applicants, their nominated representatives and other members of the public may request access to the information collected by TRA under the Freedom of<br />

Information Act 1982.<br />

The Commonwealth Fraud Control Guidelines 2002 apply to information collected by TRA from applicants and their nominated representatives and other<br />

information collected during the processing of applications. TRA may disclose all or some of the information collected to comply with these guidelines.<br />

Giving false or misleading information is a serious offence. A person convicted of fraud in connection with an application for skills assessment may be<br />

subject to a range of penalties, including fines and imprisonment.<br />

TRA may withdraw a successful skills assessment outcome where an applicant is later found to have provided false or misleading information.<br />

TRA may refer <strong>Australia</strong>n employers to the appropriate authorities for investigation as a result of information provided with applications.<br />

Your payment receipt should be printed and attached to this form before submitting the form to TRA. If you cannot print your<br />

payment receipt or have lost it:<br />

1. A copy of your receipt is sent to the email address linked to your account when payment is made.<br />

2. If you still cannot provide a copy of your receipt, complete as much information as you can below. If TRA is unable to find your<br />

payment using these and other details on this form, you may be required to provide additional proof of payment, such as a<br />

bank statement. TRA will contact you by email if additional proof is needed.<br />
