Rathaus · The Town Hall
Das gotische Rathaus aus dem frühen
15. Jahrhundert erhielt im 17. Jahrhundert
eine Fassade im Stil der Weser-
Renaissance. Es zählt zu den schönsten
Rathäusern Deutschlands. Bis heute ist
das Bremer Rathaus Sitz des Senates
(Regierung des Landes Bremen) sowie
des Bürgermeisters. An der Westseite des
Rathauses steht die berühmte Bronzeskulptur
der Bremer Stadtmusikanten.
The gothic-style town hall dating
back to the 15 th century received a new
facade in the style of the Weser Renaissance
in the 17 th century. It is counted
among the most beautiful town
halls in Germany. Still today, the Bremen
town hall is the seat of the senate
(government administration of the Land
of Bremen) as well as the mayor’s office.
To the West of it, you can find the
famous bronze sculpture of the Bremen
Town Musicians.

Die Pflastersteine des Marktplatzes
bilden ein großes Hanseatenkreuz. In
unmittelbarer Umgebung befinden sich
neben dem Roland, dem Wahrzeichen
Bremens, weitere bekannte historische
Bauten sowie die berühmte Böttcherstraße.

direkt am Bürgerpark, dem „grünen
Herzen“ der Hansestadt an der Weser
und ist nur wenige Gehminuten von der
Innenstadt entfernt. Das CCB ist direkt
mit dem Maritim Hotel verbunden.
The Congress-Centre Bremen is located
directly on the Bürgerpark (citizens’
park), the “green heart” of the
Hanseatic town on the river Weser and
is just a few minutes walk away from
the town centre. The CCB has got a
direct connection to the Maritim Hotel.
