12.10.1 William Cleator (3159) was baptized on the 27th of March, 181, at Andreas. He
was living with his parents at Ballakeil, Andreas, at the census of 1841 and 1851.
12.10.2 Ellin Cleator (3160) was born circa 1833 at Andreas. She was living with her
parents at Ballakeil, Andreas, at the census of 1841 and 1851. After her mother died
she kept house for her father. She married Henry Radcliffe on the 24th of June,
1865, at Andreas. She and her family with living with her father in 1871.
12.10.3 John Cleator (3162) was baptized on the 18th of October, 1835, at Andreas.
12.10.4 Thomas Cleator (3161) was baptized on the 25th of December, 1838, at Andreas.
He married Esther Susan Corkish (see 1.29.1) on the 17th of May, 1863, at
Maughold.
The census of 1861 describes him as a 22 years old tailor. In 1871, after his marriage,
he is described as a mine labourer. In 1881 he is living at Cooil Erd, Maughold,
where he is a farm servant. In 1891 he and his family were living at Ballaghterah,
Lezayre, when he was described as a Highway Labourer. See 12.512.11 for details of
his descendants.

12.11.1 Thomas Henry Cleator (3177) was baptized on the 30th of December, 1860, at
Lonan at which time only his mother’s name was given.
In 1861 he was living with his unmarrid mother at the home of his grand–parents at
Crott-e-Quill, Lonan. In 1871 he was living with his parents at Dhoon. In 1881 he
was working on the farm of Edward Kelly at Ballacrink, Bride.
12.11.2 John R Cleator (3378) was born circa 1863 at Ramsey. In 1871 he was living with
his parents at Dhoon. In 1891 he was living with his parents at Ballaghteragh,
Lezayre, unmarried and working as a general labourer.
12.11.3 William G Cleator (3379) was born circa 1865 at Ramsey. In 1871 he was living
with his parents at Dhoon.
12.11.4 James Patrick Cleator (3180) was baptized on the 18th of October, 1868, at
Dhoon. In 1881 he was living with his parents at Cooil Erd, Maughold.
12.11.5 Albert Augustus Cleator (3181) was born in March, 1871, at Dhoon. Not found in
1881 census.
12.11.6 Elizabeth E Cleator (3182) was born circa 1875. In 1881 she was living with her
parents at Cooil Erd, Maughold. In 1891 she was living with her parents, unmarried
and working as an apprentice dressmaker.
