Regularization of USLs
Regularization of balance
USLs granted temporary status
including nine in whose case
orders were held in abeyance by
HQ ENC.
(Shri BS Reddy, INDWF)
There are no provisions for
regularisation of Ty status Casual
employees who did not meet the
laid down criteria as per Govt
instructions issued in 1993 and
subsequently in 2006 after Uma
Devi Judgement. These were one
time measure.
It was pointed out by Staff side that
there are DOPT instructions which
permit regularisation of Ty status
USLs which can be followed.
The Chairman directed that the
applicability of DOPT instructions
in this case will be explored. The
case may be re-examined in the
light of these instructions if these
do exist.
