[ Discussion of The Requirements Concept ]
One Domain, Many Requirements
⋆ nearly always cover a much larger span
⋆ than do any one individual (set of) requirements,
⋆ that is, a requirements for a specific software product.
• Thus one can expect one domain description
⋆ to be the basis for many (more-or-less) distinct requirements prescriptions,
⋆ which, since they are (to be) based on the same domain description,
⋆ and when they share some domain phenomena and concepts,
⋆ must (somehow) be made to fit one another.
• We shall cover the notion of requirements fitting when covering the topic of
domain requirements.
