• The background for this stage <strong>of</strong> development<br />
⋆ is the set <strong>of</strong> current business processes as carried out in the domain at present<br />
⋆ and as described during construction <strong>of</strong> the domain description.<br />
• The purpose <strong>of</strong> this stage <strong>of</strong> development<br />
⋆ is to prescribe how thee business processes are to be in future,<br />
⋆ once the required s<strong>of</strong>tware has been installed;<br />
⋆ that is: the business processes <strong>of</strong>ten need be re-engineered<br />
