⋆ An enterprise wishes to improve operations by redesigning the<br />
way staff operates within the enterprise and the way in which<br />
customers and staff operate across the enterprise-to-environment<br />
interface.<br />
⋄ In the course <strong>of</strong> formulating reengineering directives<br />
⋄ a need arises to also deploy new s<strong>of</strong>tware, for which<br />
requirements therefore have to be enunciated.<br />
• One way or the other, business process reengineering is an integral<br />
component in deploying new computing systems.<br />
