NOTE 15 - RISK MANAGEMENT (Continued)
The District is self-insured for employee dental care benefits and became self-insured for health benefits
on January 1, 2011. The dental program is administered by CoreSource, which provides claims review
and processing services. The health program is administered by United Health Care, which provides
claims review and processing services. Both of the self-insurance programs are accounted for as Internal
Service Funds.
