TENDERERS TO NOTE:-<br />
1. The tenderers shall furnish a copy of valid BIS License along with the offer for the<br />
items quoted by them.<br />
2 (a). Tenderers having in house facilities for galvanizing (Hot dip/Electro) are<br />
required to furnish a copy of Pollution clearance Certificate From the<br />
concerned authority.<br />
(b). Tenderers procuring galvanized (Hot dip/Electro) M.S.<strong>Wire</strong> from out side for<br />
manufacturing <strong>Barbed</strong> wire have to furnish manufacturer's T/C for galvanized M.S.<strong>Wire</strong>.<br />
NOTE TO PURCHASER:-<br />
Rate contract will be awarded only to those registered firm,s with<br />
DTIC/DGS&D/NSIC to IS:278/2009 being a complaint prone item category.

Schedule 1 Electro <strong>Galvanized</strong> <strong>Steel</strong> <strong>Barbed</strong> <strong>Wire</strong><br />
Specification :-<br />
'ISI' Marked <strong>Galvanized</strong> <strong>Steel</strong> <strong>Barbed</strong> <strong>Wire</strong> shall be manufactured from mild steel wire<br />
confirming to IS:280-2006 with Electro galvanized hard type wire coating as per<br />
IS:12753/1989 (Reaffirmed 2001).<strong>Barbed</strong> wire having heavy coated line wire with light<br />
coated point wire for application for fencing to IS: 278-2009(Fourth Revision)& as per<br />
General <strong>Technical</strong> Requirement.<br />

revision).<br />
2. Mild steel wire confirming to IS: 280-2006 with hot dipped galvanized as per IS:4826<br />
1979(Reaffirmed 2001)Edition 2.3. in the line & point wire shall be Heavy &Light<br />
coating for application for fencing barbed wire.<br />
3. Mild steel wire confirming to IS:280-2006 with Electro galvanized Zinc coating as per<br />
IS:12753/1989 (Reaffirmed 2001) in line wire & Point wire In Heavy and light, coating<br />
for application for fencing barbed wire.<br />
4. The barbed wire shall be supplied in metal reel packing weighing 25 to 30 kg/reel<br />
Excluding the weight of the reel.<br />
5. Marking should be as per the relevant clause of IS Specification.<br />
6. Pre-dispatch inspection of stores against the supply order shall be reported as per<br />
CSIDC inspection Report copy of this Performa is enclosed with the hard copy of T.E.<br />
