Pacific Northwest And Seattle Flora And Fauna Guides
Metropologie (www.metropologie.com) is an innovative new touring company that provides highly specialized
tours of the Seattle metropolitan area and is looking for professional and amateur gardeners, botanists,
horticulturists, and other people that know our area’s natural landscape to create and lead guided walking tours
this summer. Metropologie is seeking knowledgeable individuals who can present information in an engaging,
informative, substantial, interactive and enjoyable way. Basically, if you know an aspect of the Pacific Northwest’s
landscape, we want to speak with you!
Must have
● Know the facts and information about our area’s natural landscape
● Kind, friendly, genuine, easy to get along with and customer service oriented
● Enjoy interacting and leading small groups of people
● Able to physically work with a small group for 2.5 hours at a time and get around short distances
● Enjoy working outdoors in Seattle summer weather (rain or shine)
● Able to commit to mutually agreed upon dates, with flexibility, but commitment is key
Nice to have
● Current or former graduate students, teachers or working in the field
