ACCOLADES<br />

Elizabeth Bade, MD, was the recipient of the Greater Milwaukee Clinical<br />

Research New <strong>In</strong>vestigator Award, presented by the Aurora Department of<br />

Clinical Research, Aurora Research Administration, and Aurora St. Luke’s<br />

Medical.<br />

Dennis Baumgardner, MD, was awarded a Certificate of Commendation<br />

from the Office of the Governor of the State of <strong>Wisconsin</strong> for his<br />

contributions to improving health outcomes for the people of <strong>Wisconsin</strong>.<br />

John Beasley, MD, was awarded a Certificate of Commendation from the<br />

Office of the Governor of the State of <strong>Wisconsin</strong> for his contributions to<br />

improving health outcomes for the people of <strong>Wisconsin</strong>.<br />

Randall Brown, MD, PhD, was awarded the 2011 Young <strong>In</strong>vestigator Award<br />

from the American Society of Addiction <strong>Medicine</strong>.<br />

John Frey III, MD, was awarded the 2010 Folkert Belzer Award. The Belzer<br />

Award is “lifetime achievement” recognition for contributions throughout<br />

one’s career to the <strong>UW</strong> School of <strong>Medicine</strong> and Public <strong>Health</strong>.<br />

Cynthia Haq, MD, was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, the national<br />

medical honor society that recognizes scholarship, leadership,<br />

professionalism and service in medicine.<br />
