Staff Transitions
• Honorie Coté, MS, PA-C, retired after 16 years of service to the program, including directing
clinical education since 2001.
• Christine Everett, MPH, PA-C, joined the program as a clinical instructor and director of
research.
• David Payne, MSPAS, PA-C, relocated to the University of Charleston to assume a PA
program leadership position.
• Outreach specialists Jackie Kazik, Heidi Schalch, and Michelle Hauser departed with the
culmination of the program’s 2008-2011 HRSA Title VII training grant.

Thirteen second-year students participated in a
service learning trip to Belize in May 2011. They
provided medical supplies and care to over 700
patients, most of whom were children.
