• Eau Claire residency clinic had 11,935 total<br />

visits (9,181 physician visits)<br />

• Augusta residency clinic had 4,421 total<br />

visits (3,614 physician visits)<br />

The Eau Claire/Augusta residency teaches<br />

community-connected care in a state-of-the-art<br />

facility. Through a strong collaboration with<br />

Chippewa Valley Technical College, resources<br />

include a human simulation lab and virtual hospital.<br />

Education Highlights<br />

• Five-year accreditation renewal.<br />

Following an accreditation site visit on<br />

July 20, 2010, the Eau Claire program<br />

successfully attained a five-year<br />

continued accreditation period, the<br />

maximum length awarded.<br />

• National recognition for quality<br />

patient care. Last year, the Eau<br />

Claire and Augusta residency clinics<br />

received national recognition as Level<br />

I and Level II patient-centered medical homes (PCMH). Third-year residents participated in<br />

quality assurance teams to review and implement changes required for meeting PCMH<br />

recognition requirements.<br />
