Vocal Touch – A Voice Workshop For Singers

A Voice Workshop was held on the 10th of November. This enjoyable
and highly participatory session was designed to help Children and
Adults to find their singing voice and to learn to project it with ease
and confidence.
Mr. Joseph Mora’s Vocal Coach and Choral Director, a qualified and
experienced voice coach, began the session with Voice Warm-ups
and Exercises. The Breathing Rap and the Breathing Exercises of Sips
and Hisses was fun. The exercise for diction brought a lot of laughter
with tongue twisters like “ Chester cheetah chews a chunk of cheap
cheddar cheese” and “Give Papa a proper cup of coffee in a
proper coffee cup”. This session is a step towards enabling our
members learn the art of proper singing, by enriching their vocal
skills, improving correct posture, implementing correct breathing
techniques, refining diction, resulting in soul-stirring expressive
singing.

Fresh Fruits for Better Health and Good Growth!
It’s time we teach our children, the importance of
consuming fresh fruits every day.
The factory visit to Barakat on the 10th of November, was a
step towards educating our children on the importance of
fruits in their lives. The kids got an opportunity to see how
nutritious fruit and vegetable juices were produced using
no additives or preservatives, just the way you make them
at home. The helpful team of professionals explained as to
how the selected raw materials from around the world
entered the preparation facility, and the end products
maintained between 2 0 C and 4 0 C.
The kids also got an
opportunity to see how
the laboratory staff
tested every batch to
ensure that the
stringent standards are
met. Moreover, the
children got samples of
fresh juices and freshly
cut fruits. Let’s cultivate
the habit of eating
fresh fruits every day for
healthy living!
