<strong>India</strong> <strong>Club</strong>, <strong>Dubai</strong> welcomed H. H. Sheikh Nahyan<br />
Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan , U.A.E Minister of Higher<br />
Education & Scientific Research, at a landmark <strong>visit</strong><br />
to the 48 year old premier <strong>India</strong>n institution.<br />
Dr. Ram Buxani, Chairman, <strong>India</strong> <strong>Club</strong> welcomed<br />
H. H. Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan to the<br />
<strong>Club</strong> and presented a floral bouquet, a traditional<br />
shawl, <strong>India</strong> <strong>Club</strong> membership card and a<br />
memento. While welcoming the Chief Guest, Dr.<br />
Buxani highlighted the role of H. H. Sheikh Nahyan<br />
and said that the Minister of Higher Education and<br />
Scientific Research, has guided and shaped the<br />
higher education in U.A.E and has established a<br />
successful model for higher education throughout<br />
the Gulf region. Dr. Ram Buxani further mentioned<br />
that H. H. Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan<br />
had indeed carried higher education in the country<br />
to tall platforms and one can see our wards, Emiratis<br />
and Expatriates are able to get higher education in<br />
all disciplines with ease and comfort without the<br />
need to travel abroad.<br />
While addressing the <strong>India</strong> <strong>Club</strong> Members and the<br />
<strong>India</strong>n Community members, H. H. Sheikh Nahyan<br />
Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan said that his interactions<br />
and dialogue with members of the <strong>India</strong> <strong>Club</strong> have<br />
been both enjoyable and interesting.<br />

H. H. Sheikh Nahyan added that he was aware of<br />
the splendid history of the club which reflects the<br />
special relationship between <strong>India</strong> and United Arab<br />
Emirates. He said that he was confident that both<br />
the countries will continue to work together to further<br />
mutual understanding, cooperation and joint<br />
ventures between the two countries.<br />
